Chatsworth Caravan Park to reopen under new management and with upgraded facilities

New general store and wi-fi coverage across the site among improvements.

Chatsworth Caravan Park will reopen on November 3 under new management and with upgraded facilities following renovations.

Operating for more than 20 years, the caravan park is now managed by Chatsworth Escapes which has holiday cottages on the estate.

The programme of improvements has included full wi-fi coverage across the site, enhanced electric hook-up points at every pitch and a new general store offering treats and essentials from local suppliers and the Chatsworth Farm Shop.

Set within the old walled garden, the caravan park offers the ideal base for those looking to visit Chatsworth House and Garden, explore the estate or discover the wider Peak District throughout the year. All visitors receive a key for the ‘secret door’ which leads directly into Chatsworth Park and its 1,000 acres of free to access open space and woodland.

Richard Palmer, managing director of Chatsworth Escapes, said: “The Chatsworth Caravan Park is such an important part of the Chatsworth Estate, with many guests returning year after year These renovations reflect our commitment to enhancing the experience of all who visit us at Chatsworth, and the new store is a great addition - making it even easier for guests to sample fantastic produce from local suppliers and producers during a stay.

“With the Chatsworth Estate literally on the doorstep, the park is the perfect destination for those looking to explore the beautiful landscape of the Peak District, whether they’re revisiting a favourite spot or coming for the first time. We look forward to welcoming returning and new guests from November 3.”
