Derbyshire bus station closure: Here is where all the relocated bus stops will be

The station upgrade works will begin on July 1 and last for 16 weeks, resulting in the relocation of bus stops to other parts of the town.

Improvement works are part of the county council’s £47 million Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP) programme.

The new station will have better accessibility, while changes will also be made to its layout so that the buses can be moved around more efficiently.

There will also be new shelters, seating and litter bins. The real time information will be updated, meaning passengers will be able to check when their next bus will arrive.

The surfacing of the ground within and immediately next to the bus station will also be fully replaced.

Locations around Alfreton town centre for all of the alternate bus stops are as follows:

- Stagecoach Service 1, Mansfield Woodhouse: High Street stop 1 (buses into Alfreton will also stop at Millfield House, Hall Street for Tesco and at Cressy Road)
