Litter of nine Belgian Malnois puppies at Chesterfield RSPCA shelter on hunt for forever homes

Nine puppies from the same litter are among rescue animals at Chesterfield RSPCA looking for new homes.

The eight-week-old Belgian Malinois pups were found living in unsuitable conditions. Steph McCawley, supporter engagement officer at Chesterfield and North Derbyshire RSPCA, said: “The original litter was of 10 pups but one has been adopted already. We currently have nine in our care with six of them boys and three girls.”

Playful and very bright, the pups will grow into large dogs weighing 20-30kg.

The RSPCA shelter on Spital Lane is also caring for French bulldogs, Staffordshire bull terriers, a Border collie, Belgian shepherd dogs, an Akita, a Cane Corso and cross breeds.
