Budding legal eagles from Brookfield Community School in Chesterfield made the journey to the historic venue of Derby Old Court House to attend the regional final of the prestigious Mock Trial Competition.

"I am certain some successful legal careers have been launched as a result of this competition. I know every member of the Brookfield community would have been impressed and proud of our students’ performance at this prestigious event.

“A massive thanks also to Miss Kitt and Mr Davey for their work with the students. Being able to enter and perform well in national competitions like the Mock Trial Competition does not just happen by chance; it requires time, support and guidance, something that both teachers provided throughout the year.

"It was very clear how much the teachers and students were determined to do well for each other. A fantastic all-round achievement”.
